This course contains both written instructions and many videos to create the "True North" earrings. All project documents are PDF files that can be downloaded, while the videos must be viewed through the course.

The written instructions will guide you through the steps needed to build your earrings by using photos in each step. There is a lot of interaction - the written instructions list the videos that pertain to the Steps, and the videos list the Step #s that are covered in them. They are definitely meant to be used together (see the Project Overview below).

As a designer, I find that in spite of having good instructions and photos, my students always do better in class when I demo certain points. The videos help with that! Students can watch how it’s done, and ask questions in the Discussion, just as if I was in the classroom and giving a demo. Plus, the videos are always there as reference, simply because you've enrolled in the course... What could be better than that?
